What we collect

When you browse, our server logs record standard technical data (IP address, browser user-agent, pages requested). When you click out to a store through our /go/ links we record the click: product, store, price at the moment of the click, the page you came from and your browser user-agent. We use this to measure which stores and products our visitors care about and to be paid affiliate commission.

Analytics

We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not store personal data; IP addresses are not retained. Because of this the site does not need — and does not show — a cookie consent banner.

Affiliate links and third-party cookies

Outbound links to stores are affiliate links: we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you land on a retailer's site (including via affiliate networks such as Awin or Amazon Associates), that retailer or network may set its own cookies to attribute your purchase. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's or network's own privacy policy, not ours.

Email price alerts

If you create a price alert we store your email address, the product you track and timestamps of confirmation and notifications. We only email you after you confirm via the double opt-in link, and only about the alerts you created. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all alerts immediately.

Retention and deletion

Click records are retained for accounting of affiliate commissions. Alert emails are kept while your alert is active; unsubscribed addresses are kept only to honour the unsubscribe. To request deletion of any data related to you, email [email protected] and we will remove it within 30 days.
