How Dew Index works

💧 Why “Dew Index”?

“Dew” is the finish K-Beauty is famous for — that glassy, dewy skin. An “index” is what we actually build: every night we record the price of every product, in every size, in every UAE store we track, and turn it into one honest reference. Dew Index is exactly that: the daily price index for dewy skin.

🌸 What we do

We crawl the stores with real K-Beauty stock in the UAE and consolidate what matters in one place: current price, price history and the best time to buy. No fake "was 99 AED, now 49 AED" where the "was" never existed — every reference price is one we actually observed.

📏 Sizes matter

We only ever compare prices for the same size of the same product. A 15 ml travel size is not a discount on the 70 ml jar. Listings whose size we cannot confirm are shown, but excluded from discounts and best-price badges.

📈 Price history

For every product size and store we record one price point per day. That lets us tell you whether today's price is an all-time low, around average, or expensive. The "good time to buy" signal is transparent: it is computed against the observed range of the last 90 days.

Some links are affiliate links — if you buy through them we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That pays for the server. We clearly mark when that is the case and we never rank a retailer higher because of its commission: default order is always by real price.

On the roadmap. If we do it, it will be real: part of the commission goes back to your account when you buy.
